Product launch and event „Mono goes Bar Basso“. At Milan Design Week 2014, Richard Lampert unveiled the unconventional step stool "Mono" (designed by Steffen Kehrle) with a staging next to the iconic Bar Basso. This also included an invitation of the design community to the popular bar next door — a vibrant summer party lasting into the early hours of the next morning.

Debut of „welcome design friends. NEWSROOM“. Full of anticipation for a face-to-face gathering, we kicked-off our first press event "welcome design friends. NEWSROOM" in August 2021. The idea behind: to encourage relaxed conversations and exchanging ideas, incorporating digital greetings and offering glimpses into our clients' latest innovations, production methods, and facilities. A pleasure every year: Press trip to Leolux and Pode. Since 2019, the Dutch traditional and lifestyle brands Leolux and Pode have been regularly inviting journalists to visit them. Sometimes during Dutch Design Week, sometimes to attend a co-initiated trade fair format, or to explore a new Experience Centre.

As the press agency for Leolux and Pode in German-speaking countries, welcome design handles all organizational aspects – and is always delighted to accompany the journalists on their journey.

welcome raasch. In autumn 2023, German designer Michael Raasch introduced his own lighting brand. Since then, raasch has become synonymous with iconic standalone luminaires that are both user-friendly and intuitively designed to complement contemporary aesthetics. Leading up to this debut, there was a crucial emphasis on revitalizing the brand and highlighting its unique DNA, ensuring a flawless brand introduction and successful positioning.

welcome design has been advising raasch on its brand strategy since the beginning of 2023 and operates throughout Europe as a press agency for the young, innovative label.

Press trip to Kristalia. Kristalia has been blending modern technologies with unconventional Italian creativity in its light, minimalist furniture and home accessories for the past 30 years.

A success story that we presented to German-speaking journalists in 2018. Alongside a visit to the Architecture Biennale in Venice, we organized a press trip to Prata and the surrounding area on behalf of Kristalia.

During the press trip to Kristalia, we visited Presot, a tannery renowned for producing arguably the world's finest leather, used for Haute Couture shoe soles, as well as for the 1085 Edition leather chair by Kristalia.

PR for a unique hotel in Schwäbisch Hall. Alexander Seifried and Felix Severin Mack are the masterminds behind the interior design of Hotel Scholl in Schwäbisch Hall. Their vision combines high-quality natural materials, including Brazilian hardwood and Italian marble, with design icons and carefully selected accessories and objects – sometimes with a playful nod.

Alexander and Felix approached welcome design in 2014 to prepare and present their distinctive interior project to relevant media.

Designer profiles for Richard Lampert. The Richard Lampert collection is known for its design icons, particularly those by German architects, alongside unconventional designs by contemporary designers. What unites them all is their distinct design language, each telling its own unique story.

MAGAZIN1971: A holistic communication approach celebrating 50 years of dedication. When the original MAGAZINers opened MAGAZIN in a Stuttgart backyard in 1971, the name was programmatic and came with a clear vision: To track down consumer goods from the industrial and working world and make them available for use in the home.

A book, numerous products as special editions, meaningful statements from companions, design readings: welcome design developed a comprehensive communication concept to celebrate 50 years of MAGAZINE in 2021 in a cross-media and audience-focused way.

PR for „BLICKFANG goes Berlin“. For three decades, BLICKFANG has been showcasing a vibrant and innovative design scene in Europe's major cities. In spring 2023, the established design sales fair made its debut in Berlin, featuring around 100 labels at the stilwerk KantGaragen.

welcome design assisted BLICKFANG and invited its network of trusted Berlin journalists and influencers to the press tour.

PR for Cologne Design Gallery. Cologne-based designers and entrepreneurs Antonia Varelmann and Natalie Weis have made the design sketch the focal point of the Cologne Design Gallery, which they co-founded. They specialize in producing limited editions of selected drawings by renowned designers. From December 2020 to December 2023, sketches by Eric Degenhardt, Sebastian Herkner, and Jonas Wagell were showcased on colognedesigngallery.de.

Brand launch of "Cork Units" in the DACH region. Portuguese entrepreneurs Mariana Alves and Joana Silva founded "Cork Units" with the vision of crafting contemporary and functional products using cork. Their focus lies on highlighting the natural beauty, unique texture, and contrasting color variations of this sustainable material. Collaborating closely with Studio Niruk, the design studio created four modern products for the young label: Swing, side table, wall knob, and wall shelf. "Cork Units" made its debut in the German-speaking market at the beginning of 2021.

Auguri: 75th anniversary Panzeri. With a spirit of exploration, a passion for experimentation, and enduring commitment, the family-owned company Panzeri has been devoted to crafting exclusive designer lighting fixtures. Since 1947, they have produced original and functional lights, finely balanced and precisely crafted in-house, consistently striking a harmonious balance between traditional craftsmanship and pioneering innovation.

Welcome Mylands: Brand Launch in German-Speaking Countries. Founded in 1884 and proudly family-owned for six generations, Mylands stands as the UK's oldest family-run manufacturer of paints and polishes. Nestled in the heart of London, this traditional company has refined the craft of producing fine, richly pigmented colors, delivering products of unparalleled quality and depth. Renowned for its exceptional standards, Mylands has served not only the British royal family in its early years but has also been the preferred choice of esteemed theaters, playhouses, and international film productions.

welcome design has been accompanying Mylands since its market entry in the DACH region, offering PR and other communication services tailored to architects and beyond.

"Material Love": An event for all the senses. Since the 1970s, GRAFF has been narrating a European-American tale of bathroom luxury and affection. With a strong emphasis on a passion for premium materials, functional design, and time-honored craftsmanship, GRAFF produces exquisite bathroom and kitchen fixtures as well as bathroom interiors.

To unveil the latest products and showcase the GRAFF brand in an ideal ambiance and alongside esteemed guests, welcome design organized an exclusive event in Munich and Hamburg in 2023.

All in one brand and product launch. The "Plug & Light" light socket represents cutting-edge lighting technology. Developed by Insta and co-initiated by Gira and Jung, this innovative concept invited numerous luminaire manufacturers to design fixtures for Plug & Light. The outcome was a successful debut at Light + Building 2018.

We designed catalogues, wrote all texts, planned and managed photo shoots and carried out strategic PR measures. In short: we supported the brand and product launch across all channels and as an interface between the partners and the public.

(Press) Event celebrating Richard Lampert's 25th anniversary. In 1993, Richard Lampert established his Stuttgart-based company with the vision of manufacturing furniture and everyday objects that merge quality craftsmanship, design, and sustainability.

On the occasion of the company's 25th anniversary, welcome design invited press representatives and companions on behalf of Richard Lampert to an event during the imm cologne.

Welcome to Kunstmuseen Krefeld and K+ Café. The K+ Café, situated in the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld and designed by Austrian designer Robert Stadler, seamlessly blends art and life, tradition and innovation. Serving as both a museum café and a dynamic design exhibition, it offers a vibrant space for socializing and gathering.

The opening of K+ Café marked the beginning of welcome design‘s collaboration with Kunstmuseen Krefeld, particularly in communicating the newly designed café to design, architecture, and lifestyle media.
