We kicked off Dutch Design Week with an inspiring two-day press trip, celebrating the innovation of three leading Dutch brands: JASNO, Fatboy, and Tonone. The journey began at Tonone’s atelier, where we explored their cutting-edge lighting designs. At Fatboy, we learned about the brand’s playful yet functional approach, before enjoying an exclusive exhibition preview at Kazerne. Day two featured a visit to JASNO, where we discovered their beautifully designed shutters that connect indoor and outdoor spaces with elegance. A big thank you to JASNO, Fatboy, Tonone, and all the journalists who made this event unforgettable!

New in: OneTwo by Steffen Kehrle for Richard Lampert – a mirror that plays with perception and self-image. Appearing to be separated in the centre, the minimalist metal frame of OneTwo comprises two mirror surfaces on different levels – the upper part of the mirror is offset by a few centimetres. The effect: a play with space and reflection ensues.

With the new Meetia collection, Actiu explores the boundaries between creativity and industrial craftsmanship in a new way. The clear design with gently curved and carefully crafted upholstery, framed by the characteristic surrounding steel structure, allows for versatile use.

Berry, Moss, Stone, Bark, Aqua, Paper, Grass, Leave, Smoke and Grain: With the new Elements collection, Wood & Washi is offering its washi curtains with different white textures - inspired by nature.

BAU door handle from Studio Niruk for traditional Italian brand Olivari receives German Design Award 2024. BAU is the symbiosis of two contrasting materials: drawn brass along with marble from the leftover chippings of the Henraux / Luce di Carrara quarry create an elegant combination.

LIFT by raasch features a monochrome look and clever functionality. The design of this clear, slender luminaire family is characterised by the interplay of proportions: volume, strict geometry and graphic elements are finely balanced.

Bright orange and olive green: Richard Lampert presents the Eiermann table legend in new colours.

Mylands launches Olive Stone Emulsion, a new high-quality plant-based mix.

Focus on: Leolux's new Loya sofa programme (design: Studio Truly Truly) celebrates its international premiere at imm cologne 2024. Inviting, expressive, individual - and affectionately called „a soft mass“ by the Leolux Art Directors. Take a seat, please!

Pode like: The Balini club chair and Banzi stool (design: Meike Harde) are upholstered with great craftsmanship and sensitivity. Designed in a sculptural way, Meike was inspired above all by furniture from the 1980s, when many armchairs were produced without legs that could simply be placed next to each other.

Creative Case Story: Ege Carpets realises a special carpet project with Studio Other Spaces – founded by the renowned Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and the Berlin architect Sebastian Behmann - for the "Spatial Solidarities" exhibition. The round masterpiece has a diameter of eight metres and artistically visualises the movement of the Alps over the past millennia and thus the development of the region around Flims: the exhibition is currently housed in the Yellow House and can be seen until 27 October 2024. Wow, we are impressed!

Not only Michael Raasch made his debut with his lighting brand raasch in the newly created „Designschloss Bosfeld“ in autumn 2023, but also seven other premium manufacturers: initiated by the newly founded sleeping and bed label Fine-Furniture, BBQtion, Kettnaker, Eloa, Weibel-Weibel, Willisau and Sitting Bull present their products in the moated castle built in 1725 – as well as in the outdoor area. A permanent, rethought B2B showroom with a special flair.

RAY. With its launch in autumn 2023, raasch presents a luminaire made of translucent material innovation.

IDX – Your Stage. A new platform that encourages encounters and fresh synergies. Together with Artemide and Gabriel, Ege Carpets has realised a new concept and has been offering a new space for encounters in Munich and Hamburg since November 23.

Actiu presents a modular seating collection: Globb is inspired by the creative technique of balloon modelling.

Autumn novelty from Ege Carpets: SHE (design: Laura Bilde and Linnea Blæhr) is a tribute to „them“. Six carpet designs celebrate women artists who did not receive the recognition they deserved in their time in textile weaving, sculpture or painting. Women such as Agnes Martin, Aino Aalto, Ann Albers, Ray Eames, Sonia Delaunay or Sonja Ferlov Mancoba - and others with groundbreaking works that characterised their time. And: SHE honours women who paved the way for future female artists with their art.

The wool concept. Ege Carpets brings the atmospheric warmth as well as the pleasant tactile and climatic properties of pure wool into the interior. As part of the Colortec concept, the new carpet qualities are made from 100% British pure new wool and meet the high demands of highly frequented rooms with flying colours.

„Sky Walker”, „Leather & Lace”, „Everybody loves nuts” and „Lime Juice”: An entertaining encounter between Jutta Werner and Creative Director and File Under Pop founder Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer led to a long-lasting friendship. Now NOMAD has entered into its first product collab with the Danish brand, which is known for its extraordinary lava stone tiles, artfully hand-painted wallpaper and a sophisticatedly curated universe of exclusive wall colours: Design Soulmate Josephine has given the NOMAD classic Candy Wrapper Rug four fresh colour tones.

For her most important project – her family home – creative director, film artist and curator Andrea Gelardin worked exclusively with colours from Mylands.

Leolux surprises at Milan Design 2023 with „BRAM“ – a new object from its Viewpoint Collection.

Contorna – what a mix. Rounded lines and delicate surfaces trace the contours of this new arrival from Kristalia. The essence of the design (design: RAMOS BASSOLS) is characterised in particular by the natural or stained ash wood. We love it!

Welcome Elephantino! Kristalia's bestseller Elephantin (design: Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher, NEULAND) is now also available in recycled and recyclable plastic. Ma che gioia!

With its „Office Kitchen“, VARIO takes the classic office kitchen out of its niche and turns it into the centrepiece of a new room concept. Want add-ons? No problem. Screens, plant pots and work tables - everything can be added.

Burgstraße 5 is home to Munich's oldest community centre. The former Stadtschreiberei building has recently become the "Schreiberei" with a fine dining restaurant on the upper floor and a brasserie on the ground floor, including its own courtyard kitchen. The fantastic landscape architects from Koeber were able to design the inner courtyard and roof garden of Munich's new „place to be“ in keeping with the Schreiberei motto „Rendezvous for all the senses“.

Bramble, Lily and Lunaria are followed by Tulip: Nina Ruthe and David Antonin from Design Studio Niruk are continuing their collaboration with Bolia. The new three-part basket series Tulip, designed for the Danish manufacturer, is made from 100 per cent palm leaves and is woven by hand.

John Pawson is considered a minimalist in architecture and design. The British architect's designs are considered both sober and luxurious. Characteristics that also characterise a residential building and guest house in Giessen designed by John Pawson - finely balanced and consistently implemented. Koeber Landschaftsarchitektur from Stuttgart was commissioned to design the entire outdoor area, including the underground car park roof and driveway.

Welcome to Sapphire House! In the boutique hotel of the Autograph by Marriott chain (architect: Debby Wentink, HUGO interieurvormgeving) in the heart of Anterpens, the high-quality carpet from Ege Carpets is the protagonist and acoustic assistant in all rooms. And storyteller.

With its collections, Ege Carpets creates bespoke solutions and maximum creative freedom in terms of design, colour and pattern. The technologically innovative Colortec concept, developed by the traditional Danish manufacturer, is designed with this in mind and enables customised storytelling for every project. A wonderful example: the luxury hotel "The Elvetham" (Interior Concept: Sindri Matharu, Jastar Capital) in Hampshire, England. The Colortec and Graphic concepts from Ege Carpets were used throughout the hotel. The rooms are characterised by around 2,000 square metres of carpeting, individually customised to the customer's wishes.
